ORDINANCE 11-160
AN ORDINANCE CREATING SECTION 15-304 OF CHAPTER 3, TITLE 15 PERTAINING TO ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMITS ON COBB ROAD, MEMPHIS ARLINGTON ROAD, MONROE ROAD AND OLD BRUNSWICK ROAD


WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners desires to establish safe speed limits for vehicles traveling along Memphis Arlington, Cobb Road, Monroe Road and Old Brunswick Road inside the City of Lakeland; and,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAKELAND THAT:

Section 1. Section 15-304 is hereby added to Title 15, Chapter 3 of the Lakeland Municipal Code.

15-304. Speed Limits on Cobb Road, Memphis Arlington Road, Monroe Road, and Old Brunswick Road. The speed limit on Cobb Road, Memphis Arlington, Monroe Road, and Old Brunswick Road shall be as listed in the table below:

Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately after its final passage and publication, the public welfare requiring it.

First Reading: June 2, 2011.
Public Hearing: June 28, 2011.
Final Reading: July 7, 2011.
